Conceptual art could well describe any art, as all art begins from a concept, says my friend local artist, art historian Dr. Charles Zuill. In today’s era of art study, conceptual art often describes that which cannot be described. Rana Bagum embraces this paradox with rigor. Her works in this art collection similarly communicate architectural or geographical shapes that may remind us of piano keys, organ pipes, geological specimens each with a certain color consideration. Her art appears both scientific and fantastical.
